What would you do in this case?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year. She works at a local store and today she had a work meeting. We thought the meeting would be short so while she was in the meeting, I was waiting outside in the parking lot for her to finish her meeting. I waited for two hours... and the meeting still wasn’t finished. I texted her saying I will go home first since its close by and come pick her up when she is almost done. Told her to text me when shes almost done and I live like 5-10min away. When her meeting finished another hour later, instead of texting me to come pick her up, she asked her guy friend to come pick her up even though he lives in the opposite direction and farther away. She is staying over at my place.... yet she called her friend to pick her up and drop her off at my place. I feel quite insulted and disrespected because: 1) I already waited two hours to pick her up. 2) She asked another guy who hits on her at work When she was dropped off, I got annoyed and we got into a fight.. which started because I brought it up and she thought I was crazy.

No big deal, she wanted a quick creampie from the other guy

That escalated quickly.

It's true though. That "meeting" was probably at his place which is why she couldn't come out and needed him to drop her off.

My god, why the fuck would anyone sit through 3 hour long meetings?

Did the guy pick her up or was he already there?

Sorry that happened to you. There was no meeting.

I beg to differ. The other guys nuts definitely had a meeting with her mouth

Tbh she wants the kind of guy who will offer to cover her Uber, not the kind of guy who idles in a car for two hours.

If you need someone to pay for your Uber to work, you probably should find another job.

Overreacting, badly. Getting someone else to ferry her for free, instead of spending money you might end up sharing or asking you to interrupt whatever you were doing just to drive her, is very considerate. If the other guy is a coworker, probably he had to attend the 3-hour meeting too. At that point it saves you both time for her to take a 10-minute ride immediately vs. you driving for 20 minutes to make the round trip. If this guy has “hit on her at work” and you know this because she told you, it seems unlikely she preferred his company to yours. Past tense though because it sounds like you started a super unnecessary argument and you’re holding on to enough resentment still that you went and told the internet about it. Dude, if you’re really that close by, why would you even wait in the parking lot for a 1-hour meeting? I’d try to squeeze in some gym time, run a couple of errands, or just head home and play a round of dota or whatever. I could sort of get feeling a little sad/insecure about not having done enough in the past year to show she can count on you to drop what you’re doing and pick her up when she needs you. I don’t really see how the meeting running longer than expected is her fault, and everyone knows it’s improper to text in work meetings if management can see you.

I don’t think anybody is at fault here. It is okay for you to be upset in this case, and what is important is that you let her know that you’re upset and why it is that you’re upset. Blaming her for doing something wrong is not going to be productive, but letting her know that you’re upset because you feel disrespected, or neglected, or dismissed will help her understand that this was important to you. If your partner is caring she’ll listen and try to learn for next time.

You better get another girl. She is gone. In relationship, always question one thing, will you do what other one has done? If you get an answer no for a long period of time. You know something has to change

Are you 12? Quit being a puss. Also, she’s going to cheat on you if she hasn’t already. Both of you seem immature.

The guy she called for a ride works at Amazon.
