What's YouTube software engineering in data teams like?

Is it mostly a data engineering or data cleaning role with lots of ad hoc work coming from DS or analysts? Or is it more infrastructure work? It seems like YouTube data infra would be really interesting and large problem to work on. Would like to know recommended teams in YouTube in general too
