What’s the average amount of time you’ve spent at companies in the past?

Aimed mainly at people under 30. Seems like most Blinders are serial job hoppers. How do you do it? Doesn’t it get exhausting having to ramp up every time? I’ve been at G 3.5 years now and cannot imagine leaving because of wlb. Only thing is I need more $$ now so I’m re-evaluating. Also wanna hear from folks at other FAANGs. Do you feel less of a need to leave now that you’ve “made it” in some sense? TC: 260K after stock tanked

“Only thing is, I need more $$ now”…. You said it yourself… is it exhausting? I guess. But why is that so confusing

Well I’m basically at my cliff now. In the past, Google paid top of market but no longer the case. Guess I’m part of the pack now and just wanna hear from actual *serial* hoppers. This is my first time (first job out of school).

It comes down to (1) personal value of discomfort: how exhausting/annoying is ramping up and (2) what are your external offer? Do they meet the marginal requirement of #1 … both are personal/subjective
