What's the best advice you've ever received?

Life, work, anything. - When trying to decide to take a job offer that was a huge stretch skill-wise 10 years ago: "If someone else can learn to do it, you can learn to do it." Worked out amazing for my life and career.

In life and relationships: Filter everything you say through: Is it kind? Is it necessary? Is it true? I have avoided saying a lot of unkind and unnecessary things by doing this. Specially when being in “the heat of the moment”. Taking a pause to remember these filters gives me a brief moment to double think about what I’m about to say.
