Buy and hold broad market index funds to achieve 7-10% return in the long run. Is this the way? Or take concentrated risk on a few high conviction stocks? I don’t see how one can close wealth gap without taking more risk early on. #personalfinance #investments
Which wealth gap are you talking about? The one between you and the majority of the country? If that's the one that you want to close, for sure, take more risk.
😂
Wealth gap between him and the billionaire bald meme guys obviously
Tbh, a lot of index funds are already concentrated in a few tech stocks. VTI or VOO are essentially QQQ lite. Makes me wonder about whether I am actually diversifying when investing in these SP500 etfs.
You will see the benefits when tech stocks sink and other sectors gain.
You're not. The S&P is the 15% of a country that holds 45% of the global market. The only true diversification is global with VT and BNDW.
80% index, 15% ind stocks, and the other 5% is what I call as the fk u money that I use for trading/gambling (meme stocks excluded though). This has worked well for me the past 20 years
Which index funds do you invest in?
