Class action lawsuit
Sounds like a lawsuit to me.
Correlation is not the same as causation. GTFO
But there are laws around it. If new workers are hired that are five years younger than those who were fired then legally it can be considered age discrimination. That’s the law. And if in looking at company wide terminations firings are skewed older which based on this layoff seems true then the company has to explain this discrepancy.l, also by law, if questioned.
No it’s not. What if they fired people based on the criteria of highest paid employees for mid to low positions? It’s totally legal then, eh?
Consult legal counsel.
Probably related more to compensation than age.
Was it really skewed to older people or just unneeded senior/management positions where the people are naturally older?

Wow, what a lack of sympathy here. I guess tech-bros all expect to be dead by 35. RIP, Tech-Bro. Died when the emptiness of his soul created a localized singularity that sucked his body into his own asshole. Remembered lovingly by his collection of empty Red Bull cans.
Hey I'm neither young nor stupid. Move on, don't waste time.
Become young, single and agree to work more for less.
Are you an idiot? At least don’t show it to us.
Are you posting from SJW rally?
