When can I quit and still get my bonus?
I’m planning to leave Facebook and the Bay Area. My calibration with my manager will be next week. Do I have to wait until my bonus clears before giving notice? Or can I be on my notice period and still get paid the bonus?

I would personally wait until the money was in my account before giving notice.
Is there a chance you will be walked out on the day you give notice? Sometimes employers do this. My first employer did this to me when I gave 1 month notice after working there for 9 years. I didn’t get paid for that last month, since my employment was terminated by the employer on the day I gave notice. They wouldn’t give me a reason why I couldn’t continue working for the last month. They must have figured I would not do any real work during that month, which would have been true.
That's really shitty. But it's also kind of sad that they thought you don't have anything to transition after 9 years
