I've had 6 positions I was being considered for put on hold or stuck in team matching since August despite getting positive hiring feedback so it looks like it's a wrap for this year. Now I'm wondering when companies will have their budgets set for 2023 and start hiring again. November? December? Or not til sometime in Q1?
Just to clarify - you've been offered 6 separate jobs outside of Meta? And all are on hold?
Not all made it to offer stage yet, but yeah basically I've had 6 separate roles I was interviewing for either put on hold or unable to find an open team match in the past couple of months.
which companies on hold? That's pretty damning that theyre putting ex meta on hold
You really have high opinions about us :)
Maybe not a tech lead at Meta? /s
Usually in Q1.
