When would/do/did you give notice to your previous employer when looking for a new role? Received verbal offer but pending written offer and background check. Hoping for start date in June.
Once you have a signed contract without any stipulations you can give notice. Two weeks is dandy, but your team may need more. Try to give as much notice as possible while being reasonable with your new employer.
Yeah! This!! Don’t be the guy who leaves on the same day.
What if you're walked out?
Or try to give less notice if you want to make a statement about the team
I like the current team and manager but new co came in strong with $$$ + interesting projects and really smart HM
Where are you going to ? What level you are at?
What's wrong with after background check? That assumes you already have a signed contract and everything is cleared. What harm is there?
Where is the "Two Weeks After Starting New Role" option?
😂
