Looks like a good opportunity for both sides and Seattle too. What do you think? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.geekwire.com/2017/brand-expert-predicted-amazon-buy-whole-foods-says-logical-next-one-nordstrom/amp/
Why would you? Even buying Whole Food thing was a mistake
Really? Their market cap went up by more than the cost of purchase after the announcement. Amazon got whole foods for free.
I think Amazon will buy Macy's
What is this, a pump and dump? Bitcoin is that way! - - >
I think Amazon would buy; just doubt the Nordstrom's would sell to them. Too much brand pride.
A currently successful 116 year old company about to open a store in Manhattan won't sell.
You know Nordstrom is already likely taking in private equity in order to go private. Why is Amazon money worse than private equity? At least they'd have future guaranteed and a solid technology partner
Hopefully amazon does not buy Nordstrom it will ruin it
If it happens it will be a partnership with at least 51% in the family's hands. It would have to be a win win
I don't see what value Nordstrom has for Amazon. WF purchase was to get into grocery. Amazon already sells more clothing then Nordstrom's does.
Nordstrom has strong relationships within the vendor community. Multiple brands have or are in the process of pulling their items from Amazon.
Now that Nordstrom is losing support for the buyout this seems much more like a win win
Amazon ain't buying that cmon get real
