So I sold some stock today on etrade and what to get the exact cost basis. Do you know where I can find the cost basis? I know the 1099B for 2020 would have it, but that comes out early next year. This is through my personal etrade account. TC: $180K

If this was stock issued by employer, you should ask payroll or compensation dept at employer. Also note that part of your “gain” may be included as regular income on your W2 and so if you are not careful you will end paying tax twice on that part.
Thanks but that only applies for ESPP where you need to use the adjusted cost basis from the supplemental form.
Applies to RSUs too. Financial company may show cost basis of RSUs as zero.
Stock Plan>My Account tab>Gains & Losses The cost basis is the “vest date fmv” Personal account is > individual brokerage>gains & losses
Thank you!!

It should be in the order details which probably shows up the next business day.
Thanks I’ll check next week. The order details don’t have the cost basis as of now
