I have been trying to catch up with my savings recently. I'm curious to find out where folks usually put their money. I have a boa savings account where I usually put all money in. However, the recent hike in Microsoft's stock got me to start thinking about investing in stock market. I have never done it in the past except using my 401k balance to buy s&p500. Do you happen to have any ideas? TC 220k

I use Wealthfront which has a 4.3% APY and FDIC insured up to $5 million. You can also get 4.8% APY for 3 months. DM for a referral if you’d like one.
Boa savings is almost 0%. There are other savings accounts which offer 4% APY and up. Marcus by Goldman Sachs (4.9%), Wealthfront (4.8%), American Express savings (3.75%). These banks are insured by FDIC
Thanks for the information. Never knew of these before
