Where to go after L7 TAM?
15 YOE working in various tech domains, cloud, datacenters, storage, networking, etc. No coding experience apart from SQL and Terraform. Where else can I make $400K+? Is my only option to transfer to pre-sales? I know there aren’t a ton of L7 TAMs or even SAs on here, but I feel I have no path to L8. I’m happy to just chill here the rest of my career but looking for external options as well. TC: $380K

No that’s planned. L7 starts at $350K. Actual TC could be over $400K next year depending on the stock
Mind sharing your base? Curious if going through the promo from 6 to 7 is worth it.
Base is $195K. Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s worth it. I was TT YoY at L6. Took a bit to break through to HV2 at L7. I can’t imagine ever getting rated higher. I’m just hoping I can leverage the L7 externally.
