250k is not enough
You discounted 3/4 or so of investment classes.
Blockfi has 8.6% yield on Cash. Technically not an investment, but I don't think you know what that is anyway. The other options are real estate, bonds, commodities, and weird stuff like pokemon cards
What’s the catch? No free lunch...
Withdrawal fees, but you get 1 free withdrawal a month
Physical silver and gold. Btw..I’m fascinated by people who don’t want to invest in stocks and hold all cash in the bank - when the bank uses your money to invest (forex etc) for basically free.
I have plenty of stocks, they make me nervous
Keep enough cash for emergency fund so you don't need to be nervous when temporary market downturns occur. If you invest in index funds you minimize risk over the long term.
If you arent into digital $s, how about digital real estate? Www.earth2.io

This is our solar power plant we recently built in Gujarat (India). If you want to invest in solar, PM me. Internal rate of return (IRR) for you would be > 30% for a 25-year investment horizon with payouts every year. Minimum investment $70k.
Yes collect all the money and then run away with money like Nirav modi and Mehul choksi
Assuming you qualify as an accredited investor, I would invest that in a few real estate DST's (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_statutory_trust). That should get you close to $2K in monthly tax advantaged cashflow (which I would re-invest), plus you'll get appreciation on the real estate. It's a nice, steady, no-hassle income stream plus I think real estate is a very smart investment for offsetting inflation.
My broker just asked if I wanted to do this and I signed off as no. Am I making a mistake? I don’t really get what an accredited investor grants me, even after googling it
Mistake? Who knows. :) Hindsight is 20/20 but there are also lots of ways to succeed, so not really a right/wrong approach. Accredited investor status grants you opportunities to invest in deals that provide better returns. I'm sure it is possible to get great returns doing things on your own, but the probability is much greater working with brokers that work with accredited investors all the time.
