Hello , need help for my brother’s college decision. He wants to do Quant Finance/ FinTech as career. He is planning to do CS + Econ or CS+ Math in college. His choices are Carnegie Mellon , Brown and Georgia Tech. Which one this community recommends based on his career goal and top employers in that field? Finance wise - CMU and Brown will be same cost ( about $80,000/ year) For GTech, being Georgia resident , he will have tuition covered through Zell Miller ( only boarding and food) But in the end it’s more about future prospects and career trajectory.
If they’re sociable, go to brown and network. CMU for the name and resources. Georgia tech if they don’t want to deal with student debt. If your brother is a genius, then it doesn’t matter where he goes, if he isn’t then he should go to the best name on the list…which is brown.
Gtech
East coast jobs love east coast schools
With GTech and CMU being so close in polls , it’s not helping 😭😭
I gave you the answer...
Almost similar school, definitely go to no cost one for sure lol
GTech unless his parents are rich and can pay no problem.
