Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
I'm a Canadian citizen and I am expecting an offer (got verbal from recruiter) with Amazon in Seattle. Which visa is best to go for? Is TN considered as the employer having to sponsor me? Does Amazon do TN approvals easily or is this a point of contention? Is it easy to get a TN for this role (it's non-tech) Education: Eng and MBA Job title: program manager
TN if you qualify (have the right degree). Otherwise, H-1B.
In same boat, got offer for TPM, working with lawyers!
Are you finding the lawyers yourself or did company provide them for you?
Amazon lawyers are working with me
The typical path is TN -> H1B by lottery -> Green Card. If you spend a year remote in Canada you could get an L1 which goes directly to GC. Amazon won’t do more complex than that
How long does L1 path take for GC?
12-24mo vs 24mo+
Why you going to Amazon? Didn’t you heard the horror stories here?
