I currently use chase but I got pissed off over them charging me fees for incoming wires. Does anyone use BoA or chase for investments and general checking/savings to take advantage of the higher tier perks? I also use online banks but I like having physical locations. I saw BoA has the cash back perk if you’re a platinum honors client while chase has the sapphire checking. Any other banks with similar perks? I don’t mind consolidating investments to be able to take advantage of this stuff too. Lack of foreign transaction fees, currency exchange fees would also be nice.
I use BofA but more for its dependability and ease of use. Perhaps foolish, but I’m not looking for much otherwise in my checking and (non-HYSA) savings. I look more to maximize on credit card choice and HYSA, then put a buffer in my BofA savings in case I overdraft in checking.
Yes , after a certain balance the wire transfer fees get waived though

HSBC Premier - they let you open an account in any part of the world. Want a trading account out of Singapore? Want to buy property in India? Want to encase bitcoin in Dubai? HSBC Premier is your friend.
Yeah that’s my future choice, don’t make enough in base yet to cover my current expenses and 401k contributions to be able to qualify for the premier checking consistently
Worse bank in the world.
BoFA is pretty notorious for their fees. Probably best to stick to online banking if you want to avoid all the bullshit.
BoFA has the worst app and the worst user experience, stay away.

Schwab Bank
Doesn’t Schwab have wire transfer fees?
No, free inbound, and free outbound a few times per quarter from the brokerage side.
