Hi, Which car do you think will be best for me and my spouse, 2 kids in 2nd row(both in car seat) and easy to access 3rd row seats for my parents. Please give your views. I prefer hybrid but okay with gas car as long as it is comfortable for everyone, specially parents who will have to go back while the car seats are still there. I plan to buy the car within next 1 month. Feel free to share what are you using and what are you liking and not liking about your car. #car #travel
Highlander or grand highlander. Available in hybrid too.
Minivan, end thread.
No one wants ugly minivans
I agree with Coupang just get a Minivan. I made the mistake of not getting a minivan ( so uncool, right) and instead bought VW Atlas top trim. It's one of the roomiest SUVs with easy 3rd row access. But ended up trading it in less than 2 years of ownership- problem. Getting in and out of third row for aging parents and kids alike- is not that comfortable. Ever though Atlas is super roomy- the height makes it difficult for older folks and kids. I ended up trading with Honda Odyssey - now my parents and kids just love the ease of access. Also, it's so roomy my spouse also wants to spend time in the third row with kids on longer journey. One benefit of Odyssey over other minivans is the magic slide seats- it lets you arrange the seats as per your requirements. Definitely, check this out with your family. If you really have to get a SUV then do try the Atlas - for space. I cross shopped between this and telluride/ Hyundai. Definitely more room.
Honda Odyssey is a great choice. So is Pilot. Equivalent Toyota even better.

If you have young kids get a minivan and even a used one that you can trade in within 10 years. The amount of mess my kids made during car trips long and short, it’s not a vehicle to keep for life. Just one that will survive the years where you dig out soggy Cheerios and random Cheeto bits between seats for the next 6-7 years.
People saying minivans. Just that this is going to be our 2nd car, between me and my spouse and none of us wants to take minivan to office

Dude no one cares what you drive, if that's what is stopping you. If you don't like a minivan personally, try to process why you dislike the best option and maybe you'll see which other car you may like, or change your opinion. And if you haven't tested a minivan yet, I'd say you don't know enough about it.
Mazda Miata
Only if the kids are driving.
The bigger the better, more space is key. I love my Volvo XC90
Plus one on xc90
In Vans, Pacifica is amazing. Big, spacious and amazing to drive Budget cars, > New Pallasaid is about to launch (looks great). > Toyota Grand Highlander > Mazda CX 90 If you got money, >Jeep Grand Wagoneer >Mercedes GLS
This! Chrysler also has sliding doors making it easy for kids to get in.
Bmw M5
U kidding? M5 doesn’t feel like a family car, I’d go with Porsche 911
The right answer is X7
