I’ve a big expense coming up. Which credit card should I put it on to get maximum cash back or points? I have following cards open at the moment: Citi Mastercard 2% cash back Chase Freedom Chase Freedom Plus Bank of America Rewards Card TC: $125k
Use creditcards.com cardmatch to find your pre-approved offers and the points that you may receive. I was able to get the Amex platinum for 125,000 points.
Chase Preffered, you will get 100k points, worth effectively $1250 as signup incentive
Chase Sapphire, Amex Platinum, US Bank Altitude Reserve
Chase sapphire preferred. 100k back
This. CSP is probably the simplest recommendation with highest ROI that you'll get. Others - - American Express Platinum - Hilton Honors Aspire or Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant. Each of the above has hefty annual fee but you'll make it back and more if your usage matches their target ($200 airline credit, $200 streaming credit etc). Also consider airline cards - Alaska Signature, Cathay Pacific (avoid if you are a country that won't find Hong Kong safe anymore), Korean Air. At 2k spending these cards give enough bonus to cover a business class intercontinental flight.
Chase Sapphire Reserved instead
