Which family car should I upgrade from sedan?
Looking for family car(intermediate SUV) and have come up with below options finally. Please let me know what should I do now. 2018 model comes with price reduction.

Just get a minivan. It’s the car you need and the one you don’t realize you want. Storage, power, entertainment, etc. it’s godlike for family travel. Only morons think cars are a reflection of themselves. Make a spreadsheet and test drive a van. It wins every column.

Both cars feel cramped for a family. Go for a Honda Pilot or Toyota 4 Runner. Or better yet a Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX 570.
RAV4 2019 looks fantastic. I recommend waiting for it. You could also go for a 3 yr or so used Acura MDX and get a pretty good deal if you want a nicer car.
