Which electric car manufacturer is best place to work for the long term? For the traditional ICE car manufacturer, it would be working for the EV arm.
How is working at Weee?
Its not perfect, we have all the pros and cons of being a start up. But hey, problem = opportunity, so look at the bright side, lots of opportunities.
Yeah love the app. I hope they succeed
Tesla and GM. GM is underrated, but actually is one of the greatest in the industry. Toyota is also great., It leads EV in terms of patent, etc. However, there’s not many interesting EV dev opportunities in its US branch. Other companies are jokes. Having said that, your short-/mid-term position is more important than a company name. Remember you can always move to another EV company as long as you are a competitive talent.
How is GM any good? Their products are shit
I totally agree with your view on GM products, but think about how many people (somehow) buy GM. GM has scale, tech, and (okay) strategy. The current-gen EV is not sustainable in terms of its tech limitations and supply chain issues. So, in order to make it the mainstream of the 100 million unit annual sales, tech matters. For adv-tech in the EV field, Toyota, GM, and Tesla are leading and other makes are way too behind. As for the "hot startups" listed here, they have literally nothing. Go there if you're seeking short-term CorpDev experiences (=biz side). Don't go there if you want to stay longer or want to work on R&D.

Tesla and not even close. Most others will go bankrupt except maybe Hyundai and some Chinese companies
