I don’t want to come off as nasty, but Twitter is not where you go for ML. Their cortex team isn’t anything impressive and feel free to ask how well they work with other internal teams. Apple isn’t google or Facebook, but it’s miles ahead of Twitter.
Can you please elaborate on why Twitter is not for ML, please? I’ll really appreciate it because until now I was targeting Twitter for MLE roles. Thanks a lot in advance.
Because it’s not. They don’t have the talent, the infrastructure, the measurement culture, and aren’t pushing the boundaries anywhere. They did buy a company called Magic Pony which had a lot of good talent. But nothing much came of that.
