Assuming that you're not considering West Coast locations, which is the stronger location? Stronger means more high paying TC companies (FAANG, maybe fintech if TC is on par), ability to network into these companies and ability to boomberaang around for TC growth. Write in suggestions also welcome for other locations, but I can't think of any.

Depends on interests as well. Anecdata: I’ve seen more NYC consumer or fin tech oriented startups than in Boston. The opposite for security, health tech, bio.

Boston basically has Amazon and google. Fb has some presence but it’s like a 100 people there now. Cannot compare Boston and New York for tech opportunities, Boston has other things going for it but tech is not one of them.
Boston is also an order of magnitude smaller Also you forgot MS New England
Yup but smaller doesn’t equal cheaper real estate or anything these days, so purely in terms of opportunity, NYC is way better.
