Assume you got offers from all of these companies for SWE role. Putting TC aside, which of these would you go and for what reason? I'm specifically putting the constraint "Putting TC aside" just to see what people think of these companies/product/culture/outlook/future/name value/prestige/career growth/perks/benefits/etc (assuming you don't care about the TC or assuming all offers give you the same TC. However, please still take care of the paper money RSU and real RSUs. So for private startups, take that into account.) Surprised to see Indeed so high up in the rank. What do people like about Indeed?
I’m surprised to see Shopify on the top
I mean tbh, if you’re fine with shit pay and woke culture it’s a decent company. Their balance sheet looks good, no debt, lots of cash. Not as overvalued anymore. Pay is the only issue
Lyft can realistically go out of business, so people voting are a bit behind with the program (probably basing their vote on prior to 2020).
I feel like if they started to teeter Uber would do an acquisition
Why would Uber acquire? If Lyft ceases to exist Uber would inherit their customers for free.
