A full time position at Amazon/ other as a Sr. program manager/ Program manager at $145K per year , stocks , decent Med but No Life At All OR a remote contract role at $80 per hour, maybe med or self buy, no stock, no other perks but A Life to read, wank, rejoice. I have 0 savings and I am 34 years old. All of the above are hypothesis. I have offers to interview & have bagged none. If I do get either I will sign in blood.
At 34 you may want to start looking for some stability
What'd the TC be? I'm assuming something around at least 225k.
Maybe. 225 without a life or 160 with a life?
Being a PM at amazon isn’t as bad as being a dev so I would say go for it
Not saying there are no other challenges, but PMs in my org typically roll in around 10 and are gone by 5 (with no on-call...). It can be hard to be successful in the role, but if you're good at it it's not necessary long hours.
My approach would be to assess what type of lifestyle I want - disregard the actual money for a moment and think about how you will live in either of these roles. Do you prefer stability and being around more people? Do you get energized by other humans? Do you work better when in a team environment? Choose Amazon. Do you prefer independent work? Do you like the idea of having your work and personal lives intertwine? Do you like the idea of being able to work anywhere in the world? The money will become moot if you choose a lifestyle that doesn’t work for you.

What do you think is wrong with a kid who got rejected by 9 colleges?
Focus on bagging the offer before you put brain power into this kind of stuff. Also I can't answer because I couldn't understand the post
