So, irrespective of the teams, are you saying that layoffs are likely ? Based on general market sentiment or something Cruise specific?
Looks like long-tenured and recently promoted Googlers got impacted. Wondering if this is a general trend in other companies too
In 2020 it was a mixture of all types of Cruisers. Though they did pick off people with known perf issues first. That being said, the company doesn’t have any bloat, so layoffs in 2023 would mean they are cutting into flesh and bone.
