They have smart people, money and everything to make a bigger impact on world and build good products. I just don't see them making profitable income streams like Amazon. What are your thoughts on this?
Easy wins teach wrong lessons. Like MSFT they don't know to dig deep and win. Look at Amazon they stick with a product for a long time if they believe they should be in it.
Why doesn't OP work at Walmart anymore bagging groceries, or whatever your first job was? Same reason.
Lol never worked in grocery store! Always a software dev!
Ok then have u thought about getting a 2nd side job? What's stopping you? Hint: you already earn $200 per hour.
Google made the mistake of too much diversification. I will pick one sector, for example. Maps. Google has a useful app that helps ads but they don't dominate the space. They go off playing with other ideas while competitors have caught up and beat them on maps.

Why doesn't OpenAI offshore and reduce expense by 80%
They don't have to. Their ads business is a cash cow that they can use to subsidize all their other products that they intend to use to dominate our lives with the Google ecosystem. When Google controls everything you use, you will be easy money for monetization
