I am expecting an offer from their Bangalore office. I see many negative reviews on blind but amazing on glassdoor. Why so much difference? Is it really a hit on WLB? Is it going IPO? Offer - 49L + 10% + 10k/4 options, Am I being lowballed? 8 yoe #offer #tech #culture #companyreviews
HR asks to post review on Glassdoor from every new joiner. Blind reviews are honest.
That's messed up
LOL, what kind of review can you expect from new employee? "Office is OK, cafeteria/company food is decent. Ping pong table is free 60% of the time. I've seen, like, 5% of the code base, thoroughly inspected, like 0.5% - can work with that. Overall opinion: 10/10, would recommend!!!1"
For the benefit of future prospects: 1. Option price crossed $1, so you need money to buy them at end of an year. 2. Wlb is a challenge here. The teams are organized such that you would easily spend 12-15 hours. 3. Growth is questionable. You may stay in same designation for a very long time. Unless you have some contacts or boot lick Management. 4. It is going to be considerable amount of time before you see any return on options you bought. May be 5-10 years. So don’t fall for HR low balling your pay and negotiate.
Is the TC good to compensate for the above points?

What's your current tc?
The reviews are good because the recruiters will ask you the day after you join to post on Glassdoor. The company is small enough where you can still tell who posts on Glassdoor - it’s not safe to share your opinion there
