Who th is fuck is Medallia?
Ouch!
Oh, you're the guy who took a personal interest in my emotional well-being in another thread. That'd be one reason not to stay at Medallia, creepy people with personal space issues. (Lighten up, it's Blind.) I joined Medallia and stay at Medallia because we culturally sort of care about not being dicks to each other in the workplace. There are exceptions, which may or may not include my namesake. I run into lots of well-meaning people that make it a real nice place to work, most of the time. It's definitely not the technology that keeps me around. What's your story Not Leone?
Second this.
Why not? Doing extremely well in the space. On the right path trying to fix stuff that is wrong. Customers like it and want it and pay for it. People are extremely nice. Like MikeO said, they aren't dicks. We will definitely have an exit (at least I believe in it).
Btw... it helps if you’re from Argentina. Helps a lot! ;-)
company may be doing well, but it by no stretch of imagination is a start up. I mean for sake of sanity lack of vision and execution in the past cannot be seen as license to be called startup...
100% agree! Startup talk is mainly a marketing strategy trying to attract young Engs. at this point.
@sucker just another company with a CEO, President, CFO, GC, and VP of Engineering....
Medallia has been transformational for my career and can potentially be for yours as well. Like MikeO said, people there care about each other and look out for one another. Medallia is a place where you will get a lot of opportunities if you look for them. That said Medallia is not the small startuppy company it used to be. There are processes and rules now. No more nerf guns or unlimited hint water. Probably sort of a good thing since that means it has grown quite a bit? There are lousy managers here and there. I have had a few. But just keep your head down and your work will speak for itself.
Great place to work and we are getting better, bit by bit. Medallia is an example of slow and steady wins the race. Our leadership seems to make cautious, thoughtful decisions unlike other Silicon Valley companies with dicks at the helm. We have owned up to our mistakes and are not rushing into an IPO.
You sound like an embittered, ungrateful prick. Why are you still lurking around if you hate Medallia so much?
heard that medallia is run by amateurs.
Maybe but we've been good about cutting the fat, and cutting it fast
Not really, testiclerunner.
