Why and how does Compass values its non-ipo stock at 150+?
12 yesr exp TC offered 300+ but how do you call it 300 if you cannot cash it? what is compass’ end game for its enployees they are hiring at 150 / stock price? compass seems like a legit company, but that stock price ???

Again, that stock price means nothing. If there’s 1 million shares outstanding, that’s a $150m valuation. If there’s 1 billion outstanding, it’s a $150b valuation.
They are low paying company by NYC , Seattle or Bay area standards.
OP did you check the most recent amended S-1 prospectus filed yesterday ? They seem to be going at $23-$26 price
Don't fall for the stock price. What you get is what you get in the bank when you work. I worked there for 4 years , thinking vested stock is TC but it's not for them. Now when the stock valuation is average $25/share ; it's a bummer for me. Avoid them , I would suggest.
Don’t focus on stock price, focus on valuation. Stock price you mentioned means nothing without knowing number of shares outstanding.
