Even Microsoft shares mooned yet Twitter is still doing worse than after ipo 7 years ago. It’s worth 32 billion, which is less than square, a much smaller company.
Why would they?
WTF is mooning.
Expose one’s buttocks to someone in order to insult or amuse them.
Coz jack has decided square>Twitter
My guess is that they don't make that much in Ads as Facebook does? Else I don't see any other way for the platform to make money. Square on the other hand, has resources and leadership from Twitter, has a paying customer base and the Cash app is steady gaining traction. So it makes sense for it to be valued higher than Twitter.
Fake news
@Square Is it true that your onsite algorithm challenges for SWEs contain calculous or trigonometry?
Will go up once they make it subscription based
Capitalism 101: (para 348) don't start a fight with the president. Seems Twitter didn't follow this rule.
Jack has less money in Twitter than Square, and uses Twitter to look woke and uses Square to make money. Jack is the real winner, a great guy and a rich guy.
Twitters ad product is shit. It’s nothing but top of the funnel, branding. Facebook can crush anyone in lead gen/conversion. So big brands all the way to small shops use it constantly. Brand budgets have a shelf life. Conversion budgets don’t end. If you can show a customer how you helped make them money — the pockets flood open. Twitter doesn’t have that.
This is why I see no hope for Twitter. It’s priced accurately by the market. Wall St is smart, they know their sh1t.
@TikTweet - 2008 called - they have some CDOs to sell you. Absolutely great for your pesky pensioners that want to have a completely stable financial object ripe for investing.
Because amazon/Microsoft sell completely different products than Twitter? One has shipping and a cloud computing ecosystem. The other has operating systems, entertainment consoles, cloud computing, SaaS products with monthly-recurring revenue. We sell... ads limited to our own platform?
Because they are not copying or buying features from other social media companies
