'Hindutva': The Radical Hindu Ideology That Seeks to 'Push Christianity Out of India’
Cloudflare has such amazing tech, great blogs and great engineering team. Levels.fyi indicates their offers are below average. Why is that? TC 430K
yoe op? people who joined pre ipo made load of money there
Yeah but that’s a minority in the company today. Most of us make peanuts
it's probably how they keep their services cheap, they also don't pay for oncall
It’s a weird dynamic. Everyone is compensated with Base and RSUs only. They are lower across the board main reasons being: 1. CEO has a ton of input on what he feels is fair to pay (which has definitely hurt us retaining and getting talent). 2. Our interview process is longer than a federal govt hiring someone, so the best talent is snapped up quick, and we are left with some people that are willing to accept lower pay for lower experience. I am not saying people who make it to the end are bad at all. It’s just the way things work market wise. 3. VPs and above have some secretive bonus pay that is hush hush. Also, RSUs at VP+ level have a super big gap between non VP+ folks. I am talking 6-10x difference. 4. Raises barely breach 4% and refreshers are as low as $20k. Yes, 20k. Even then, refreshers vary and some people get more, but not documented. 5. Most roles you can be remote which is great, but again it’s used as leverage to pay less.
Thoughts on GS failed consumer leader Stephanie Cohen joining?
Thanks for the insights. How is overall work satisfaction tho? Do they have interesting work?
Cause they want us to believe in the messiah.
Yoe @op? Mine is higher than what levels says. Take those numbers with a pinch of salt 🧂
I live in Canada, has about 6 years experience. What should I negotiate for base salary?
They dont offer cash bonuses and their stock hasn’t appreciated much.
