Whenever I give interview to direct competitor of my current Organisation like Cadence, Siemens EDA etc. The interviewer asks me what are you looking for in this role what you want to change, you can always take internal transfer in Synopsys itself if you want to work on new product. Underlying reason for job change is location, I don’t have any issue in my current role just that I want to change location. I try to answer, like Looking for better career prospects, professional growth. But that doesn’t seems to convince interviewers. What is best what to answer this question. Don't say anything wrong about current company or money or location, just create some fillers and you should be good, no one cares why you want to change,
In the US location would be a valid reason, guess it isn’t in India?
I think it's a trick question. They're looking for red flag answers such as I don't like my manager or my team is weak. Looking for a better opportunity is the correct answer.
I always says that but then they agin told me that within your current organisation as well there are many different groups why are you not trying in those groups if you want some better opportunities or something new to work on. By saying looking for better opportunities and new things to learn technology wise it might still be same but with different organisation lot more f thing changes. With the above response the interviewer doesn’t seems to be convinced.
Maybe they don’t want you enough…

Is Israel getting bad PR the reason for banning tik tok?
"While I am very grateful for what I learned and the opportunity to grow, my current role after voicing concerns for growth does not offer more opportunities." It is ok and a normal cycle of professional life for you to seek new opportunities. Any recruiter will understand that.
