Do you guys think having a YouTube channel that talks about coding is a firable offense? Or is it because something he said was ruining the company's brand?
I think it's his course on getting people into Faang, conflict of interest.
OMG, who cares?
Because he was speaking the truth. Honesty has no value in the corporate world.
He wasn’t fired because of that lol. Stop spreading FUD. See the comment below. A friend at fb confirmed the same thing.
which truth ?
Dude was an awful engineer lmao. Crap diffs, no impact. Those who can’t do... make trolly videos on YouTube.
A lot of jealousy, I sense.
why would another facebook engineer be jealous of a dude who's wife left with his kid, makes money off youtube and lc courses, and needs to pay alimony/child support lmao
Maybe he copied the facebook’s questions
Has anyone taken his course? Is it any good? $500 seems pretty steep for what basically amounts to leetcode howto videos
He was selling an interview prep course while on hiring panels. He knew the current questions being asked and was selling access. Conflict of interest, then he lied about the reason for firing to his YouTube channel. I enjoy his channel but he’s kind of a dick.
Why is FB even asking questions which need preparation in the first place?
Every company asks questions which need some kind of preparation, you prepared to get into Amazon right?
Why do people still watch him? He just lies to make money off your attention.
Isn’t that what 99% of youtubers are about? Most regular folks are dumb so why not give them what they want
He was a massive liability and probably a good but not particularly talented engineer. If you watch his videos you can tell he had been grinding for years to get into google and was working overtime to keep up at FB.
Lol. He did something more than that.
like what?
No idea if this is true. There is not even any way to tell if he got fired or just quit.
