I quit Google shortly after I got my green card, and I got a 30% raise and 50k sign-on. I'll probably quit FB to get a month or two off, because it's easier to find a new job than to get approval for unpaid time off.
Did you have to wait for 6 months after receiving your green card, in order to not have any issues in US citizenship application in the future? Is there such a rule indeed?
I hadn't heard of that at the time and I didn't. Still sounds like BS to me.
Quit previous role because of the enticement of presitige and cash. Recently quit this one because fuck all that noise and WLB.
