I was asked this question by recruiters many times after my interview and the interview feedbacks are from interviewers and there are sometimes gaps between interviewers and interviewees regarding interview results. I am wondering why they ask this question and what are the good answers to these questions? TC: $0
They’re trying to see how your experience was. Good recruiters could help to identify any bias, get two sided feedback and help with any negative experience you might have suffered.
They ask so they can get a pulse on if you’re interested in the company/team and how you’re feeling about the process so far. They also provide feedback to the interview panels and use the feedback in case a process needs to be adjusted.
To make fun of you when you think did well but actually bombed
I've got to know how it went. If you committed a faux pas then how else can I try and salvage the situation? Or, maybe the people/job isn't what you expected/wanted? Or, maybe you were treated poorly and I need to take action as a result. And so on. BTW, 90% of candidates - no matter the role, company, level - always say the same thing. "It went well". This is typically only true 30-40% of the time.
