The issue with the judge was an extreme distortion of facts by the media. The judge wouldn't drop the case against Trump even after the prosecution wanted to walk away. Trump's reasoning was that the judge had animus towards him because he's Mexican and a member of several immigration and pro Hispanic groups. Therefore he assumed that the judge did not like the hard-line immigration talk and was being biased against him because of that.
The ad was only racist if you are a racist. I saw the connection of a criminal and unfettered illegal immigration as a criminal justice issue, not a racial one.
Just ask him and his supporters if they are fine with accepting a black president and a Hispanic vice president together one day. To make it more interesting ask if they are ok with them being gay or Muslim. Everyone knows the answer. Lol.

The view on what constitutes racist actions, behaviors, or words will differ based on the perspective of the parties involved. To a room full of white people or recent immigrants (who lack context).. very little is racist. To someone who has been on the receiving end of this kind of abuse and attitudes it's fairly clear. Furthermore, parties who have not been victimized by applicable actions, words, and behaviors are not equipped to determine what is or is not abusive. Like a room full of hetero males trying to decide what sexual harassment is. It lacks value as those folks are not often subjected to it, and when they are the context is often different. Good luck convincing any white man that another white man's behaviors are racist. If he is going to get it, he will get it from the start. If not there isn't any amount of giving examples that is going to help.
