I've been lurking on ebay to buy used items and I find that the pricing is more expensive that goods on Amazon. Like it's used???? What's going on. Is there a better site that actually offers more reasonable prices?
Sellers decide the price, not the company. And it's probably because they aren't shipping from a town in China. So....
eBay does decide on price by the frivolous fees they charge sellers
BestBuy Ratatouille 4K 22.99$ eBay Ratatouille 4K 29.99$ + 5.29$ shipping extra I guess it just depends on seller, location, shipping cost, eBay fees, item signed by sellers etc
EBay is a place where good deals don’t last long, so you need to be checking back regularly. There’s a lot of resellers on eBay that scalp the good deals, and then try to sell at a high price to you. I enjoy buying and selling on eBay. Hate the scalpers.
This. I found a ton of cheap like-new Apple products on eBay for half the price. You have to be good at judging seller's reputation to find good deals and those disappears fast.
You buy hard to find stuff on ebay these days not discount. They charge a lot of fees and shipping is expensive unless you have a big volume.
My cow’ price is decided by me and I will sell her in $1M
it’s not “a site” where there are others with better pricing. it’s human beings selling at market rate who don’t have the economy of scale that large distribution has…
Because they are estimating the value with after tax amount + eBay fee, then the buyer has to pay tax on used shit, which is a bs. I stopped using eBay when gov imposed online sales tax on used items
“Why do eBay goods cost so much?” Not does. Reminds me of this Ali G prank - https://youtu.be/JRGC-5LjJ2M?si=O22VYeYp1hIXnrRi And they don’t. If you shop right, eBay can give you really good deals.
You can actually get pretty good deals on eBay. Add yourselves to their “watch Item”
Temu
Indentured labor
It's good for $20-$50 Amazon stuff, which costs like $3 on Temu. But for tech items over $100/$200, eBay is king.
