Why does one gender tend to like drama more than the other?
I've noticed this to be true across cultures, across continents, across generations, from individuals in their early childhoods to old ages, that more (not all, just vastly more than the other side) individuals of the same particular gender tend to create, like, cause, enjoy and escalate all sorts of drama. Is this related to the systemic oppression of that gender by the other gender for thousands of years? Or is it because some innate biological differences in the wiring of the brain? Or is my observation and hence premise itself flawed? No offense intended to anyone.

I think it’s we are wired. One gender is tuned for basic needs and can compartmentalize much better; other tries to be perfect in everything and doesn’t like to settle with “bird in hand” so comes across as drama
Men do seem to be much better at compartmentalizing. I am not sure if that is the root cause of the women are more dramatic thing. We also tend to be willing to overlook imperfections in friends and family - many women (not all) seem to have a huge problem in this area and obsess about other peoples' flaws, shortcomings and limitations.

When men want drama, people die in wars, sanctions, bombings, drone strikes, and lynchings. When women want drama, well...you know you just have to sit down with them, empathize, and talk about feelings.

That would be right except facts. Queen Victoria conquered half the known world at the point of a gun. Genocide was considered standard operating procedure when it came to subjugating undeveloped nations.
I doubt one gender creates more drama than the other gender. I haven’t noticed it in my experience
True, drama comes from hormones, immaturity, and poor health. None of those reason have anything do with gender.
