Why is Google so woke
After reading the article of Gemini excluding white people from images, I am curious why Google is so woke. Most of the people at Google are Indian and Indians are generally not woke by nature. They practice caste system in own country and other backward practices even in America. I know this because I am Indian. Iโm sure Indian leadership at Google is so backward that they will not let kids became trans or date black. But they are actively catering woke ideology in Google. TC: 400k

I think we are experiencing this because both the right and the left have embraced extremes. Even if you want a middle of the ground solution, you will eventually have to split the difference with either the right or the left and have to skew one way or the other

I'll tell you the actual answer: because companies like Google and Meta have already saturated the US+Europe market, and continuing growth (and stock price) means scaling to the rest of the world. This means building products that embrace multiculturalism - most of the world is not white. Building multicultural products is hard and it's unlikely that companies get it right the first time - however, they will continue to do so because that's what it takes to grow to the next billion users.

The fact that a company is woke, has nothing to do with how women its employees are. DEI policies are determined by the leadership for the company to squeeze in more profits by catering to the ideological pathologies of the current times. Thatโs it.
