All I see is half-naked girls on my explore feed, even though I only follow music-related profiles, such as music producers. Even when marking those posts as "Not interested", I am still getting similar posts recommended. What went wrong? #tech #instagram #ig #meta #algorithm #algo
Whatever you click into is the posts it shows, if you click into more cars or cats it will show you that If you’re seeing half naked girls it’s because you click them
Yeah but it can be a trap. I got 1 weird pregnant lady dancing reel that I watched in shock and horror and now all I get are reels of pregnant ladies dancing even though I am not interested in the genre at all. Been frantically liking cat videos but the algo seems to be stuck in pregnant lady content.
It's because you spent time on it. They track every user interaction and duration
Sex sells
IG can't do much .. only half naked girls get likes -+ so girls go half naked -+ so more and more content becomes that -+ and then recommendations engine doesn't has much to choose from.

As a guy I was always getting clickbait, hyperealistic videos of transforming cars or people flaunting wealth. Without fully opening them (as to hopefully not show engagement) I tapped and hold, selected not interested. Eventually my explore and suggested feed starting throwing other random stuff at me, so I made a conscious effort to open and like those things (like interior design, architecture, photography). That being said if you continue to engage with boobies on your feed, you’re gonna keep getting them suggested.
I don’t know why but your last sentence was extremely funny
Meta product managers now posting these to collect feedback. Great plan.
This guy Fs!!
It’s like heroine, they showed you first and once you take the baits, you’re hooked.
What happened to no porn on Apple?
You’re seeing half naked girls, so what is wrong with the algo? Sounds perfectly tuned to me
Half. So there’s room for improvement.
Need a different app for that. Onlyfans
Instagram feeds show based on your search history in your phone browser or what apps you use
What about ask app to not track?
Only on iPhone. Android doesn't have this issue
