Why is cloudera on a hiring spree

They recently acquired Hortonworks so they should have a lot of headcount, twice of what they need. CDP does not look like selling much, nor is Hadoop as popular as it once it used to be. What's cloudera hiring for ? On Glassdoor it looks like the employees have a decent work life balance, so I can't even say they are removing some pressure of the overworked employees. I was thinking of buying their stock when it comes to around $5, as such wanted to know a bit. @ cloudera
