Why not wear masks?
I’m not talking about n95 respirators. I’m talking about linen or homemade masks. They’re proven to be >50% effective against corona and yet I still see highly upvoted posts to not wear masks. Isn’t this thought making things worse? If everyone wears masks, then more sick people will wear them and protect everyone. Otherwise, sick people will feel weird and end up infecting everyone. 1. Masks don’t work. They work for two reasons. They protect you from the sick and they protect the sick from you. This has been proven. 2. Don’t hoard them from healthcare workers. Don’t have to. Linen masks or even masks made from T-shirts are proven to be >50% effective against corona. #covid-19 #coronavirus
Do these several reasons include the two I have listed?

I wear masks because I’m allergic to almost everything and sneeze frequently, I don’t want to scare people when I’m outdoor and sneezing or coughing lol
i coughed in an oakland safeway the other day and ran out crying
So far I still haven't seen a good explanation against wearing a mask. Even the medical professionals are just speculating without real research.

There's a shortage in the country, and the government is hoarding supplies to prioritize supplying medical professionals.

Stupidity of our doctors here asking people not to wear masks
It’s sad to see so many people in the western world lack the common sense and fact check ability. And it is even more hopeless to see the so called democratic authorities, to cover up the lack of masks and the death of manufacturing industry, brainwashed general public to not to put that fxxking mask on.
