I can add my own tonal inflection to make the characters sound how I want when I read. Girl says to her father, “Hi, Daddy.” Up to me to decide what her tone of voice is like.

If you read for experience, audiobooks may not be the best choice for all books. Also, can’t make written notes on the reading when you listen during daily commute.
Reading is like 2-3x faster than audiobooks
When I read my imagination fills in so many aspects and gaps. It’s entirely different. My suspicion is you’ve never much enjoyed reading
I need to look up technical terms that I haven’t heard before. Also there’s formula in the stuffs I am reading.

That's fine if there aren't charts, tables, etc. If there are then audio can be hard to follow of the narrator didn't take steps to explain in more detail or provide supplemental materials.
Good point, this logic book is a little hard to follow but otherwise it's been refreshing and can do it while driving 😁
I only get about 50% of nonfiction when driving but can usually get what I want/need.
