Been through so many interviews and no one has ever made me sign any NDAs saying don't expose our interview questions. Few things I don't understand here: Its freaking anonymous. You failed a telephonic round, there is no NDA prior to that round. You failed their interview, why do you care anymore? Am I missing something or it truly is as bullshit as I see it?
I signed NDA in a few interviews that I was at: G, FB, Netflix, Y! => but it was onsite; never signed NDA on a phone screen.
Did the NDA mentioned not discussing interview questions? NDA generally just restrict you from leaking information about the company which you gained by asking questions in your interview. Stuff like what are you working on and what technologies and stuff. Or if interviewer exposed you to a real work problem that they are facing. It never restricts you from leaking stupid algo questions which are either taken leetcode or is a variation of leetcode.
Some of the stuff we discussed were about the next generation of their product/architecture. — Don’t remember specifically asking about interview questions; but Google kindly asked not to share them (questions, I mean — not sure it was in NDA though)
They failed so they don't feel like helping you. Probably because they didn't get any exact match interview questions they prepped for anyways. Or they got hired and don't want to help you either. Because the reviews are time stamped, I would never give the exact interview question on GD. If the hiring manager or interviewers were to see it they would be able to narrow it down to a few people that could have leaked the questions. So using NDA is like covering your ass.
Failure part makes sense. It could be that they don't wanna be ashamed of failing on an question which seems easy to others.
Or just don't post on gd the same week?
Signed electronic NDA before each onsite at Facebook; never for video/call screens
