Tech companies to avoid as a white guy?
Contracts are for people who aren’t good enough at their job to get a FT job As a hiring manager, contractors come out of a different budget than FT. I prefer to get FT headcount
> Contracts are for people who aren’t good enough at their job to get a FT job Not true. The best/smartest Engineers I have ever worked with were consultants/contractors. And we’re talking FAANG level companies. All happened to be from Russia/Eastern Europe - if that helps. But thanks for your input.
I’ve had contractors from Russia and Eastern Europe. They don’t hold a candle to a top FT engg at a great tech company. I’m sad for you that you haven’t had the chance to work with truly top-tier talent
