How is SoundHound doing? I've been reached out by a recruiter. I am not sure if they will do well when Google assistant and Alexa are already dominant in this market.
I don't think they'll survive if someone doesn't buy them.
That’s what people said about Amazon in March 2000… now they are just talking about the PIP culture.
Don’t listen to our competitors. We just got public. Each time we faced Google or Amazon on the automotive market we crushed them. Our technology has been designed to be extremely efficient and can work in many environments where Google or Amazon can only dream of being relevant. The workplace culture is definitely better than Amazon (not so hard) and very likely similar to Google with more collaboration and less internal competition. The RSU are cheap now due to the stock market crash so it may be a good time to join.
Interesting. If you guys are doing so well or have a better product why the stock market is not appreciating this at all? . You are becoming penny stock.
I cannot comment on the stock value for obvious quiet period reasons, but I can comment on the arrogance of some lifers…

@MnM11 Your profile says your previous company was Google. Can you elaborate why you regret quitting Google to join SoundHound?
I know they were going through an acquisition a few months back so couldn’t give a fair share / stock comp last time someone reached out to me .
Acquisition? They just went IPO
Just went as in 3 months ago, but yeah pretty recent
