Will Google allow me to work in Sydney office on work visa even though I applied for Mountain View office?

I have applied at Google Mountain View office because there was no vacancy for Software Engineer position for Google Sydney office. Because there can be delay and risk of not getting H1B work visa I was thinking of working from Google Sydney office. Will Google allow this and will they process my Australian work visa? YoE: 11

Not for a team in the bay area. Maybe you can get matched with a team in Sydney, but if there aren't any posted then it isn't very likely

From what I've heard, due to layoffs, there won't be any visas in Oz for a while. So, no, not happening.
