On one hand, their stock crashed. One the other hand, their financial policy is healthy. They are profitable and should invest in growth. I don’t think they will layoff, I think they should be hiring. They don’t need to make profit at the current stage. Burning 10% of revenue is just ideal.
Yes
I don’t think we’re going to lay off. Our focus is on projecting growth. We’re already profitable so layoffs wouldn’t solve the growth issue
Low margin business with lots of competition.
When people get laid off, they will shop their own groceries with their food stamps. So not as much demand
Instacart leadership is very careful and measured about hiring and finances. Not like Amazon. That’s why they did well in grocery but Amazon couldn’t. They won’t lay off. Good companies don’t. They will realize some new business areas are waiting for them. Necessities will lead to invention.
Real question is why this Rippling f**kface is so obsessed with Instacart. I remember him sh1t posting about IC a while back too.
We aggressively try to push people out. No layoffs are needed when you do that.
They just did 🤦♂️
