Will Microsoft + ChatGPT > Google?
Most of Google's revenue come from search engine. Is that revenue in danger if Microsoft adopts/promotes chatgpt? TC 0

I am biased but there is no way that Bing will move so fast with openAI that Google wont be able to respond. But that said, all giants can be slayed.
Satya says ChatGPT will roll out with Bing before end of March 2023. BTW huge respect for Google's expertise in AI. I am sure Google will soon come up with a competing product.

Google's revenue does not come from search engine. It comes from ads.

I do as well, but I think it’s just that the quality of content on the web is terrible, and we are looking for discussions among real people’s experiences, not SEO junk.

Google has similar products as ChatGPT. they just didn't release it publicly. There are some internal trials now for their employees and shows even better results than ChatGPT

Obv not the current version of ChatGPT but the tech used in this can def be used and make any search engine more powerful. Google is in trouble unless it comes up with its own form of AI backed search engine soon
If there’s one company that can destroy a good technology better than Google, it’s Microsoft
90% of my search queries on Google have word “reddit”.. Otherwise it’s too much noise and annoying.. It’s too soon to tell but I see potential in chatGPT for providing direct answers than bloated noisy results
What would chat gpt + Microsoft offer that Google already doesn’t?
Real fast answers to searches instead of thousands and potentially useless results. Google cannot do my homework but chatgpt can
Looking at the MSFT product line, they can also draw from office suite, stronger cloud adoption, github, Activision (maybe). I think this changes the equation a bit
